- Ion exchange membrane is a thin film that allows ions to selectively pass through, roughly divided into cation exchange membrane and anion exchange membrane. In cation exchange membrane, due to the fixed negative charge exchange group, only cations can pass through, while anions are repelled by negative charges and cannot pass through. The anion exchange membrane, on the other hand, utilizes the opposite effect (as shown in the figure).
- Homogeneous ion exchange membranes have no heterogeneous structure, have a uniform structure, are not easy to leak, have excellent electrochemical performance, excellent acid and alkali stand, and are widely used in electrolysis and desalination production. But the production process is complex, and the mechanical strength is slightly lower than that of heterogeneous films.
- Characteristics of homogeneous ion exchange membrane products: high selectivity, higher ion selective permeability leading to higher current efficiency; can control the power cost of the device at a lower level; Strong stability, still maintaining good stability in strong alkaline and acidic environments.
- Typical application areas: ion membrane electrolysis/electrodialysis desalination/paired bipolar membrane preparation of acid and alkali.

Please avoid using in solutions containing oil, organic solvents, strong o-x-id-ants (such as HClO、ClO2 etc.)
